Hey feminists! Our dear friend Katy Dolle is in the beginning of her short film We’ll Never Make It Seed & Spark campaign and we want you to help!
“WE’LL NEVER MAKE IT’ Personalities clash in comedic and heartfelt moments as is a dramedy about a young woman who gets stuck on the side of the road with her autistic brother and zany Jewish grandma on the way to a family wedding. Their they struggle to survive and make it to the wedding on time.”
This project is extra special because it is inspired by a true story from Dolle’s life. Chad Dolle, Katy’s brother, has high functioning autism and representing that disability truthfully and well is very important to Katy. So much so that not only is Jon Hoffman, playing the role of Kevin, inspired by her brother, on the spectrum; The film itself will raise money for people with developmental disabilities.

Giving some funds to this project is a great way to help women in film. It seems like there are more and more openings in Hollywood each day and we at Act Like a Girl want to see women like Katy Dolle fill those gaps!
